Charonite has customers in Europe, the Middle East, Australasia and North and Central America. Our solutions are in use by over 600,000 users. It is our policy not to issue customer lists unless our customers explicitly authorise us to disclose this information. We adopt this policy as we respect our customer's privacy and the fact that our solutions may bring such a cutting edge advantage that they may not want to advertise the fact that they use our solutions to competitors. Kindly contact us for more information.
Additionally, Charonite uses the UML framework and methodology for its software development design and analysis, as UML covers all aspects of the software lifecycle, from requirements specification all the way to deployment. UML is also required by the European Union for the implementation of various software projects.
Charonite uses the standard Microsoft Project and OpenProj applications for the creation and delivery of project management information (Gantt charts, baseline tracking, etc.) and analysis (PERT analysis, critical paths, resource levelling, etc.).
Charonite uses the CMMI-SVC (service delivery) and CMMI-DEV (development) standards, which are internationally recognised standards commonly used in both Europe and North America. Many parts of ITIL are similar or based upon the CMMI-SVC standard so it is inherently compatible.
In addition to CMMI, we utilise KPI based methods heavily to measure and improve our processes continuously. All our projects have associated score cards that are used to measure the progress of each project at different points in time and flag up any potential problem areas pro-actively, to prevent problems from occurring.
Charonite also utilises ITSM compliant tools and processes to track and log issues and bugs, analyse performance and SLA compliance and to a well documented log of work, which makes it easier for management to analyse the time spent on each project and issue and identify areas for improvement.
